// what it is
EDUVANTAGE
One student record carrying admissions, registration, results, fees, identity and alumni — so the registry stops reconciling six systems by hand.
// the problem
What this replaces
Six systems, one student
Admissions runs one database, the bursary another, the exams office a spreadsheet. The same student exists six times, slightly differently, and nobody can say which version is right.
Registration as an annual crisis
Queues, paper forms and a fortnight of data entry. Errors introduced at the desk surface months later in the results sheet.
Results that cannot be trusted
Marks travel by email and USB. By the time a transcript is requested, reconstructing how a grade was reached takes days.
Fees disconnected from records
The bursary knows money arrived. The registry does not know whose. Clearance becomes a manual cross-check every semester.
// what it does
Student management,
result processing, reporting
Application to offer
Online application, screening, merit lists and offer letters. Admitted students become records — no re-keying.
Course registration that validates
Prerequisites, credit limits and level rules enforced at the point of registration rather than discovered at examination.
Results and transcripts
Continuous assessment and examination marks entered by the lecturer, approved through the department, and assembled into a transcript on demand.
Fees on the record
Invoicing by level and programme, integrated with A1Pay so payment posts against the student and clearance is automatic.
One credential
Student identity issued through Biolog, used at the gate, the library, the hall and the exam desk.
Reporting and analytics for management
Enrolment by faculty, department and level. Registration completion, pass and failure rates by course, fee position and outstanding clearance — read live, so a council question does not become a data-gathering exercise.
After graduation
Graduates keep their record. Verification requests are answered from the system, not the archive room.

We map what you run now
Every system, spreadsheet and paper process in the student lifecycle, and who depends on each.
Your records come with you
Historical student data is cleaned and loaded. Nothing starts from an empty database.
One faculty first
A single faculty runs a full cycle before the institution commits, so problems surface small.
Your team leads
Your ICT department operates the platform. We sit behind them, not in front of them.

Student management, result processing and reporting
What is a student management system, and how is it different from a student portal?
A student portal is the screen a student logs into. A student management system is the record behind it — admissions, course registration, continuous assessment, examination results, fees, identity and alumni held as one student record. EDUVANTAGE is the record; the portal is one of the things it feeds.
How does EDUVANTAGE handle result processing and transcripts?
Continuous assessment and examination scores are entered by the lecturer, approved through the department and faculty, and assembled into a grade record against the student. Because every semester's result sits on the same record, a transcript is generated on demand rather than reconstructed from archived score sheets. Grading rules, credit loads and classification bands are configured to your institution's regulations.
What reporting and analytics does management get?
Enrolment by faculty, department and level; registration completion; pass and failure rates by course; fee collection position; and outstanding clearance — read live rather than compiled at the end of a session. The point is that a Vice Chancellor, Registrar or Bursar can answer a council question without commissioning a data-gathering exercise first.
Can it work with the systems we already run?
Usually, yes. Historical student records are cleaned and migrated so nothing starts from an empty database, and EDUVANTAGE shares identity with Biolog and payments with A1Pay without an integration project. Where an existing system must remain, we scope the interface during discovery.
Who operates it after deployment — us or BTS?
Your ICT department. We deploy alongside your team rather than over them, and the platform is handed over with documentation and training. We sit behind your people for support; your people keep the relationship with the institution.
